Meeanee Road New Build
We can’t wait to see these drawings come to life
The Story So Far…
If you've scanned the QR code on the fence, you're probably one of the locals who walks or drives past this site most days. Here's what's going up, and who it's for.
This build is for a local dad of four — someone we know through church, and someone who shows up for this community in more ways than most people see. When he asked us to build his family home, it wasn't a job we took lightly. This is a big one for him: a place his kids will grow up calling home, and a place he can open up to the people he looks after in every other part of his life.
The build itself is a single-storey new home with a monopitch roof and some genuinely cool roofline features that'll start to show their shape over the next few weeks. The site's been a challenge — access is tight, which means everything from materials to machinery has needed a bit more thought than usual — but we're well underway.
Scan the code again whenever you walk past and you'll see what's changed since last time.
Getting the Roof On
Every eye on the street turns on framing day. Here's what happens between then and the moment the house finally goes dry.
